Twenty-six finalists. One trophy. Three hours that will be replayed for decades. Interval act: a 50-strong children choir from across Iceland.

A 22,000-seat circular hall overlooking Faxaflói bay, the Aurora Arena was constructed in 19 months specifically for the contest. A 360° LED ceiling renders live aurora patterns, choreographed to each performance. Every kilowatt is powered by the Icelandic geothermal grid.

When does ticket sale open?
General public sale begins on 14 November 2026 at 10:00 CET. Members of the Aurora Fan Club get a 24-hour presale window starting 13 November at 10:00 CET.
How do I vote during the shows?
During the voting window of each show (announced live), use the free Aurora Vote app, SMS, or premium phone lines. You can vote up to 20 times per show — no votes for your own country.
Are the songs available to stream before the live shows?
Yes — every official entry drops on all major streaming services on 1 March 2027, the day of the final eligibility deadline. The full 43-song playlist is available on the Aurora app.
Will there be access for fans with disabilities?
The Aurora Arena is fully step-free. Audio description, BSL and ISL interpretation, and sensory-friendly viewing pods are available for every show. Tickets can be reserved through our Access Team — see the Press & Tickets page.
Is there an official after-party?
The Grand Final After-Party takes place at Harpa Concert Hall from 02:00–06:00 on 16 May 2027. Winning artist headlines. Tickets are bundled with Grand Final Gold packages.
How sustainable is the event?
